Joonas' statement about coming back to Daugavpils

According to the fact that Joonas Kylmakorpi has joined Lokomotiv Daugavpils team for 2013 season, here comes Joonas' statement about coming back to Daugavpils.

In 2013 season I will be representing Lokomotiv Daugavpils. I used to race for this club in 2011 and I have always been very happy about our cooperation. My relation with the coach and the boss was extremly good during the whole time, so I had no doubts, when I received an offer. 

Last year I decided to face a challange and race in Extraleague, but my ambitious plans were disturbed by a nasty shoulder injury. After the season I received offers from the teams in Extraleague and 1 league and I gave myself some time to think it well and make up a good decision. Daugavpils is not only very ambitious team, but also one of the most proffesional and honest clubs that I have ever been working with. They have always been very clear about their goals and economic situation, which make them probably the most reliable club in the polish leagues. 

I really enjoy the track, the atmosphere and support of local fans. I promised the coach - Nikolai Kokin that I will do my best to be the team leader - like in 2011 and help the team to fight for high goals. Club will also supply me with a workshop on the track, as I plan to leave two bikes that will be specially set up for Daugavpils. I am planning to fly to Latvia and practice a lot as I resigned from racing in England, so I could focus more on Poland and Sweden. Having a base in Daugavpils will make my logistics really comfortable. For the other meetings on the polish tracks I will have two more bikes and I plan to travel from Sweden, where my main base is located. I am glad that all my deals for 2013 are finally done - now I can focus on preparations and trainings. Cannot wait to be back on the speedway bike.
